ABOUT ME:
Hi there! I'm from Montgomery County and live in Lancaster (not far from GHMS). I am so excited to be a part of the CV community! I student-taught at GHMS. I'm thrilled to continue my career here and to work with you all. This is my fourth year on 8 Gold! View the 8 Gold Welcome Letter here.
I attended Spring-Ford High School in Montgomery County. After high school, I attended Millersville University, where I majored in Meteorology and Broadcast Communications. Upon graduation, I worked at a video production company. In 2020, I pursued my dream of becoming an educator and received my Secondary Earth Science Teaching Certification. I also have a Master's in Special Education from Wilkes University. Being an educator is my passion; my goal each year is to inspire my students to love science and enjoy discussing and questioning science topics!
Besides being a teacher, I love binge-watching my favorite shows and spending time with my family/friends on weekends. I enjoy music a lot, so in class, we often listen to a SCHOOL APPROPRIATE 😉 playlist. Students can suggest artists and songs they want to add to the playlist. We listen to music during labs or group work. I love getting outside, hiking, and riding my bike. I'm a video editor and an educator - so naturally, I've created a YouTube series called Mr. Weather's World (check it out). Students will see some of these videos in class!
